Hal Moyers

Hal has been a consultant for Shaw Resources since 1993 specializing in leadership and facilitation of cross-functional teams in the healthcare setting. Hal has led and facilitated over 400 cross-functional process improvement team sessions and has acquired a deep tool box to assist teams in successfully defining and implementing process improvements. Hal has significant experience working with all levels of personnel in the healthcare setting including Physicians. Prior to joining Shaw Resources, Hal was the VP of Quality and Reliability for  VLSI Technology, a large Silicon Valley Semiconductor Company. Hal was elected as an examiner for the state quality awards in two states-California and Florida.

Hal also has extensive operations and P&L experience in the Semiconductor Industry, most at the VP level. Has served as a part time COO/CFO for several small, privately owned high tech companies allowing them to have the benefit of senior management and corporate level financial expertise.

Hal is the author of several papers and articles on cross-functional team leadership and process improvement. Hal has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Graduate Certificate in Total Quality Management from San Jose State University.
