Purpose
This Introductory Course is designed for the hospital or physician
practice organization that is considering using the Baldrige Award
Health Care Criteria for Performance Excellence (BCPE) in the evaluation
of their organization's overall performance. This program will introduce
you to the core values of the Baldrige Program and orient you to the
seven categories of criteria within the BCPE framework for
organizational improvement. This training is essential planning
information for executives who have limited knowledge about the
Baldrige Program and want to assess its potential before making a
commitment towards implementing the program.
